Lillington hosted Corby TTC to contest the annual trophy which was won by the visitors last September. Corby Chair, Chris Haynes, a former top junior at Free Church, brought 3 teams of 3. Each player played three legs against their opponents with one point being awarded for each leg won. It was also first to 11, no deuce.

Lillington A, James Berry, Tom Brocklehurst and Monika Tomaszek won 17-10, Lillington B’s Jeff Harris, Anthony Smith and Daniel Stone were emphatic 26-1 winners and Lillington C triumphed 19-8 through Mark Singleton, Susie Swan and Jay Virdi.

Jeff, Daniel and Susie all recorded maximums.
