We also entered two teams in the CBC League, again based in Wellingborough, and our teams enjoyed their best day of competition.

The A team of Otis Green (his A team debut), Shivam Gupta and Toby Roe played in Division 2. After losing to Chesham Grammar School Black 1-5, they defeated Chesham Grammar School Red 6-0, Milton
Keynes B 4-2, drew with Knighton Park of Leicester before losing to Nottingham 2-4. A third placed finish was just reward.

Our B squad had been promoted to Division 3 after Day 2. With Anay Aroon playing asnumber one for the first time and Thomas Pinnington making his British club League debut, Leon Hayward and Campbell Turner joined them to post a win and two draws in their 5 matches. They defeated Smash of Kettering 4-2 and drew with Kidlington Forum and Corby, losing 1-5 to Milton Keynes and Nottingham. A 4 th place finish was very satisfying. Many thanks to Chris Roe and Trevor Hayward for getting the best out of their young charges.
