We sent two teams to compete on Day 4 of the JBC League in Wellingborough.

Our A team of Alex Bosworth, Sam Groom, Daniel Stone and Susie Swan finished second in Division 2 after defeating both Luton and Nottingham 5-4 but suffering a close 4-5 reversal to Knighton Park of Leicester.

Our B team squad of 4, competing in Division 4, was reduced to 2 by two players falling ill on the day. Either Susie or Alex from the A team deputised in each B team match to ensure our opponents were not short changed but their results did not count points wise. Alfie Green and Johan Pretorius battled nobly but could not fend off defeats to Nottingham by 1-5 and 2-4 defeats to Ebatts C of London, Smash of Kettering, Highfield Girls of Wellingborough and Ebatts D.
